How to redeem Undead Defense Tycoon 2 codes

Redeeming Undead Defense Tycoon 2 codes used to take ten seconds: open the Twitter-style button on the right of the HUD, paste a string, confirm. That path still exists in muscle memory and in old YouTube intros, which is why this page exists even though the codes hub currently lists zero working codes and the developer deactivated redemption.

Use these steps when a new string actually ships. Until then, treat the panel as a dead control, not a daily chore.

HUD path (when redemption is on)

1. Launch the main Roblox place (not the test server). Data does not copy between them.
2. Wait until your plot loads and the top bar is visible. Codes will not apply mid-teleport.
3. Look at the right side of the screen for the Twitter / codes icon (TopbarPlus, credited in the description).
4. Click it, paste the code exactly, including ! and 3 substitutions.
5. Confirm. A valid code used to grant cash or unlock a vehicle button instantly.

Typing rules that used to fail codes

• Codes are case-sensitive. sp00ky is not SP00KY.
• Do not add spaces. 15K! includes the exclamation mark.
• 4000LIK3S uses a digit three, not the letter E.
• Redeem on the character that owns the tycoon. A guest in your base cannot claim your code.
• Rejoin after joining the Box Games group. Group Sten and codes are separate, but both need a fresh session.

When the panel is deactivated

Public code trackers state the redemption function is off. You can still see the icon. You cannot pull HUMVEE, SHIELD, or REMASTER1 through it. That is a server flag, not a client bug.

Do this instead of retrying expired strings:

• Read expired codes so you recognize recycled thumbnails.
• Spend time on the upgrade path and getting started buy order.
• Farm care packages from streaks. Crates still drop Revolver, AUG, Zapper, Railgun, and Combat Drone.
• Check updates after a Box Games Discord announcement — codes historically rode on remasters and like-goals, not weekly drops.

Test server vs live place

The test experience (place 5717071250) warns that data does not transfer. Never burn a live code there if redemption returns. Always redeem on the live game.

Mobile and console

If a code says invalid

1. Confirm it is not on the expired list.
2. Check for a leading space from a copy-paste.
3. Confirm you are not in Hardcore if the post specified the normal place.
4. Rejoin once — TopbarPlus sometimes fails to bind until a fresh load.
