Undead Defense Tycoon 2 Events, Hunt eggs, and Hardcore
Seasonal undead versus the separate Hardcore place.
Two things get called “events” in Undead Defense Tycoon 2: calendar zombies on the live place, and Hardcore mode as a second Roblox experience. This page splits them so you do not queue Hardcore looking for a Christmas crate.
Hardcore (mode, not a holiday)
Full page: Hardcore mode. Separate place, ~877k visits, more Alpha rolls (5× HP, 2× damage, 8× cash, red particles). Alpha Guards can deny headshots. Saves do not copy from live. Play it when mines, M60, and King on live are boring — how to play, zombie tiers.
Do not bring “I will auto knife Hardcore” unless you like dying to Alpha Toughs — auto farm.
Roblox Hunt / Egg Zombies
2024 Hunt: defeat Egg Zombies (yellow / blue / purple variants exist) and collect 150 eggs for a badge. Wrenchineer posted the hunt link on X. Eggs are event HP sponges, not a new S-tier gun. If Hunt is off, they vanish. Check updates and Discord before grinding 149/150 in August.
Festive / December
Festive Zombies and Festive Vulcan crates. Not the expired SP00KY code — expired codes. High streaks off-season do not force a festive box — care packages.
Halloween / Jack
Jack Zombie is the pumpkin-adjacent special. Treat as a reskin with event loot, not a second King. King is still the only boss with a server bar — King Zombie.
Birthday
Birthday Zombie is a calendar cameo. Screenshot it, do not rebuild your upgrade path around it.
Horde callouts
Community “horde events” are dense spawns (sometimes typed, e.g. Tough horde). Devastator is the clean answer unless it is all Toughs — then do not park a heli. Vehicle tiers.
Badges vs progression
10 / 100 / 1,000 kill badges are always-on. Hunt badges are seasonal. None of them spawn the Stinger or skip Lab. If an event wiki says otherwise, it is mixing another Roblox tycoon into this one.
When an event is live, still buy walls first — getting started. Event zombies can still walk onto an open pad.
Keep a mental calendar: Hunt is a Roblox platform event, festive is December, Jack is Halloween, birthday is a cameo, Hardcore is always there as a second join. Mixing those five into one “event season” is how people waste a night on the test server looking for eggs. Bookmark updates and the Discord channel map instead of a TikTok stitch. If nothing is announced, play the live place, farm Alphas, and treat King as the only boss that matters.
Event loadouts
Hunt eggs: any spray gun, walls, ignore Devastator FOMO. Festive: keep a hotbar slot for Vulcan if it drops; it is an M61 cousin — weapon tiers. Jack: treat like a named special, not a raid. Hardcore: M60 minimum, mines, no Jeep rams.
If an event zombie has a unique drop, it will show up as a crate or badge, not as a silent floor pad. Check care packages before you assume “new gun on floor three.”
When events overlap King
King still has the server bar. Do not lose a Railgun on an egg. Kite King center, egg-hunt after, or ignore eggs until the robe is dead — King Zombie. Eight-player etiquette still applies; event FOMO is how people drive Missile Trucks through starter plots.
