Undead Defense Tycoon 2 Updates and patch log

Box Games does not ship weekly banners. This updates hub is the public timeline for Undead Defense Tycoon 2: when the live place last changed, where patch text actually lives, and which events still matter. Event mechanics are on events and modes. The extra-Alpha place is Hardcore mode.

Current status (August 2026)

• Live place 5670292785 last updated 8 May 2026.
• Test place 5717071250 updated 31 July 2026 and does not share data.
• Hardcore is a third door with more Alphas and no save copy — Hardcore mode.
• No active codes. Redeem remote off — codes.

If a YouTube thumbnail says “UPD TODAY” with a 2022 heli screenshot, it is vehicles nostalgia, not a patch.

This wiki will not invent patch bullet lists. When Discord is quiet, the game is quiet.

Historical beats (so videos make sense)

• Launch — 9 September 2020, codes like RELEASE.
• Map remaster — REMASTER1 era, new forest layout.
• Weapon & gamepass drops — Super/Rocket sentries, Economics+.
• Helicopter update — helipad, Lab synergy, merc medkit removed.
• Care package weapons — Railgun, Drone, Zapper.
• Roblox Hunt (2024) — Egg Zombies, 150 eggs, badge.
• 2026 — maintenance-level live update in May; community still farms King and crates.

What usually changes when they do patch

Pad prices, vehicle HP, a new crate gun, an event zombie, a TopbarPlus quirk. Your upgrade path should be re-checked after any pad rewrite. Weapon tiers are labeled as public-wiki prices for that reason.

Test server warning

The test experience exists to break things. Expect wipes. Never treat a test-only gun as live. Never redeem a hypothetical future code there — how to redeem.

For seasonal loops (eggs, festive crates, Jack), open events. For “did they add a plane?” — not in live notes; that was a forum concept post, not a ship.

How to verify a rumor

1. Check the Roblox place “Updated” date on the live URL in links.
2. Check Wrenchineer’s last X posts.
3. Check Discord, not a TikTok stitch.
4. If only a script GUI changelog mentions a feature, it is not a Box Games patch — scripts.

The mercenary medkit removal is a good example of a real silent-ish change (helicopter update). Forum plane concepts are the opposite: detailed, fun, not shipped. This hub exists so those two categories stay apart.

What we will update on this wiki when they patch

Pad prices in the cash planner, gun ranks on weapon tiers, and any new event zombie on events. We will not flip codes to “active” without a string that actually redeems.
