Undead Defense Tycoon 2 How to beat the King Zombie
Range, First Aid, and do not stand in the purple particles.
The King Zombie is the only boss in Undead Defense Tycoon 2. Purple skin, purple robe, almost plot-sized, always spawns in the middle of the map, always announced. This is how to beat it without feeding it your Tank.
Kit check
Minimum: M60, First Aid Kit, walls so you can reset. Comfortable: Missile Truck or Attack Helicopter, Combat Drone, mercenary on Defend, airstrike if you own it. Luxury: Devastator rail cannons, Railgun crate, Flamethrower Tank pass.

Abilities
- Leech: purple particles drain you through vehicle cabins. First Aid in hand, not in the garage.
- Smash: ground slam damages players and vehicles, applies slow.
- Guards: summoned tanks. Hardcore can throw Alpha Guards that resist headshots.
- Scaling: HP and cash reward rise with people in the server. Small server = faster kill, less payday.
Community ballpark on a thin server: ~6000 HP, 200 damage, ~$20k. Treat those as order-of-magnitude, not a patch-note XML.
Fight plan
- Hear the announce, look center.
- Spawn mercenary on Defend so your stairs are not a King highway — Weapons Lab / mercenary.
- Approach from range. Laser Rifle, .50 Cal, Missile Truck, heli rockets to the head.
- Kite around trees. The King is huge; it snags on trunks.
- When leech particles show, break LoS and heal.
- Do not ram. Boomers in the add pack will finish a damaged ATV.
- If you own heli: hover, rocket the head, never sit still for Void or Tough — vehicle tiers.
- Armored Humvee no longer auto-shoots. It is not a cheese box anymore.
Adds
Guards first if they body-block shots. Vanguard shields in the blob need a Shaman check — zombie tiers. Airstrike is for the trash so you can keep DPS on the robe.
Rewards and why people stack
Kill cash scales with population, so a full eight-player King is a bank. That is the real co-op moment. Do not pull the King through someone else’s open mercenary stairs unless you like making enemies in a server of eight.

After the kill
Bank into upgrade path targets (Lab, heli, Devastator), not a Base Colorizer. If you still need crate guns, go farm streaks for care packages. If you died, your pads are fine; your Railgun on the corpse is not.
Hardcore Kings are meaner because the map is meaner, not because the boss gains a second phase in the public notes. Bring the same plan with more heal and fewer ego rams.
Solo versus stacked
Solo King is faster HP but worse cash. Stacked King is a raid: call targets, do not steal the Missile Truck seat mid-volley, keep one player on add clear. The how to play etiquette section exists because eight people and one robe is how arguments start.
If you are undergeared, you can still help: airstrike trash, merc on Defend at your own stairs, First Aid after leech. You do not have to land the last Railgun shot to get kill credit as long as you damaged the boss in most Roblox boss implementations — still stay at range so smash does not delete you before the bar ticks.
Golden Zombie is the other announced spawn. It is not King. Do not dump your Railgun heat on gold if the purple bar is also up — zombie tiers.
