Undead Defense Tycoon 2 Vehicle tier list
What to spawn from the garage and helipad after the pads are actually owned.
Vehicles are how Undead Defense Tycoon 2 stops being a hallway shooter. This vehicle tier list ranks garage and helipad spawns by King damage, horde clear, and how often they explode because you rammed a Boomer. Unlocking the garage is covered in the vehicles guide. Spawn cost is per pull — auto-buy scripts that sit on a Tank pad will bankrupt you (see auto farm).
S tier
Devastator — Current king of the garage: dual rail cannons, explosive lasers, huge HP, wheels instead of tracks. Best King tool on the ground. Stinger later took the “most expensive item” title; Devastator kept the “I win fights” title.
Missile Truck — Park it, launch, let a mercenary hold Defend. Perfect with the King guide’s kite-around-trees plan.
Attack Helicopter — Minigun with infinite ammo, six rockets (10s regen). Best for gathering a blob then dumping rockets. Dies to Tough boulders, Spitter, and Void teleports. Controls: W/A/S/D, E up, Q down, F rockets, M1 gun — controls.
A tier
Tank — Explosive shells, slow, tracks ignore small bumps. Zombies cannot punch the cabin; King leech, Gas clouds, and Toxic aura still hurt. Aim trees if something climbs on you.
Armored Humvee — Covered, rammable if you repair. No longer an auto-turret; do not AFK it as a “sentry on wheels.”
B tier
Humvee — Last unarmed-but-covered car. Fine for relocating and light rams. Repair often.
Flamethrower Tank — Gamepass (R$899). Faster Tank with a flame and a death explosion. Strong, not required. See gamepasses.
C tier
Jeep — Open, zombies slap you. Transport only.
ATV — $300, 2 seats, 200 HP. Buy it to learn driving, then stop ramming Giants.
Spawn and repair rules that change rank
- Hitting zombies damages the vehicle. Boomer explosions punish rammers.
- Repair on the pad or with the Vehicle Repair Tool. Bring a friend; 8-player servers exist for a reason.
- Tanks can drop tracks after a fall. Humvees can invert wheels. Helis spin if someone stands on the rotor — vehicles guide glitch list.
- Home button while piloting can yeet the heli with you. Land first.
When to skip the garage
If you do not own mines, sentry, AK, and M60, you are not ready for a Tank. The upgrade path parks garage after Weapons Lab except for a cheap ATV. Helipad appears after Lab + maxed garage (minus optional vehicle cosmetics) — players who skip Lab never see the heli pad and think it is “bugged.”
Versus zombies
| Threat | Vehicle note |
|---|---|
| King | Heli rockets, Missile Truck, Devastator. Keep First Aid out. |
| Tough | Prioritize; boulders snip helis. |
| Void | Strafe so the teleport dumps them on the ground. |
| Gas / Toxic | Cabin does not save you from clouds/aura. |
| Boomer | Do not ram. |
Pair this list with weapon tiers — a Combat Drone on a Devastator is the actual endgame loadout, not an ATV and a Katana. For Hardcore Alphas, prefer Devastator range over Jeep courage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Helicopter or Devastator first?
Own both eventually. If you must pick, Devastator is safer against Toughs; heli is faster for King heads.
Why did my helipad not appear?
Finish Weapons Lab and the garage unlocks. Vehicles themselves are optional; the building is not.
Does ramming print extra cash?
You get kill cash, but you pay it back in repairs. Do not ram Boomers or Giants on an ATV.
Is the Flamethrower Tank worth Robux?
Only if you already have the fortress online. It is a luxury A/B vehicle, not a beginner pass.
